"Aadujeevitham," also known as "The Goat Life," is a highly anticipated survival drama film that has been in development for quite some time. The movie is written, directed, and co-produced by the talented filmmaker Blessy. The film is an adaptation of the 2008 Malayalam novel of the same name by Benyamin, which is based on a true story. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, portraying the character of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant worker who is forced into a life of slavery as a goatherd on a farm in Saudi Arabia. "Aadujeevitham" has been a labor of love for Blessy, who has been passionate about adapting the novel ever since he first read it in 2008. After years of searching for a producer, the film finally went into production in 2015 under the guidance of K. G. Abraham, with the support of producers Jimmy Jean-Louis and Steven Adams. The acclaimed composer A. R. Rahman is responsible for the film's original score and songs.

Principal photography for "Aadujeevitham" took place over several phases, spanning from March 2018 to July 2022. The team embarked on a challenging journey to capture the film's essence in the deserts of Wadi Rum, Jordan, and the Sahara, Algeria. Some scenes were also filmed in Kerala, India. The production faced its fair share of hurdles, with the crew being stranded in Jordan for 70 days during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these challenges, the team persevered, and the principal photography concluded on July 14, 2022.

What makes "Aadujeevitham" even more intriguing is that it was filmed in 3D, promising a visually stunning experience for the audience. The film is now poised for a world premiere at the prestigious 2023 Cannes Film Festival and is tentatively scheduled for a theatrical release worldwide in the latter half of 2023.
