Malayalam film 2018 will be official entry to the Oscars 2024

The Malayalam film "2018" has been selected as India's entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 96th Academy Awards in 2024, as announced by the members of the Film Federation of India on Wednesday, September 27th. Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, this survival drama portrays the devastating floods that struck Kerala in August 2018.
