Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan First Look Posters

 

"Ayalaan," which translates to "Stranger," is an eagerly awaited Indian Tamil-language science fiction film. It is written and directed by R. Ravikumar and produced by Kotapadi J. Rajesh under the banner of KJR Studios. The film features a stellar cast including Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, and Isha Koppikar. This project was initially announced in October 2016, and principal photography spanned from June 2018 to January 2021, with a few reshoots in November 2022. The majority of the filming took place in Chennai. A. R. Rahman is responsible for the music composition, with Nirav Shah as the cinematographer and Ruben handling the editing. Notably, the film boasts over 4500 visual effects shots, making it a remarkable achievement in Indian cinema. "Ayalaan" is slated for an early 2024 release, coinciding with the Pongal festival.
